Tools needed

  • soldering iron

  • 13/17mm spanners
  • scissors (recommended for metal cutting)
  • (optional) power drill and 3mm drill bit

The overall cost of all the needed items (excluding tools and printed parts) is around $200 (its less than 30% of Original Prusa i3 MK2 price, however it depends how cheap you will find the printed parts, and if you already had the needed tools)

Printed parts done from ABS with layer height 0.2mm should cost around $50, depending on how expensive 3D services are near you place. You can also use PET-G for the parts. PLA are not recommended for the extruder parts, but can do the work too.
